Model Railroad Volunteers and Exhibit
I certainly am not a model railroad expert. But a fan of model railroading and a fascination for the hobby, I do have. The museum is fortunate to have several active volunteers that inspire and serve the museum’s model railroad exhibit. They have a variety of skills and a varied amount of skill levels. But what they all have is an enthusiasm that is contagious.
The latest update to the model railroad web page includes some photos of our troops busy creating new benchwork. These volunteers come together on Thursday nights and if you happen to be in the area and would like to stop by, you would be most welcome.
The process of building a new layout from scratch requires patience, determination and energy. Not to mention a few members that have an understanding of how all this comes together. Take a look at what these dedicated folks are doing.

My Dad died in March of 07 and I got the trains that I played with when I was a kid. I’m 43 now and I got the bug to build a model train set. ‘from what I’ve seen from other videos mine is going to be big! I have a video of it on my website of the beginning. http://www.modeltrainsonabudget.com I have learned a lot about trains lately like how they have evolved over the years from when I was a kid and the new things they have.
